This is an art piece I did for a recent show i was in. I have to credit my husband, Terrell, for really helping me out with this one. Being pregnant, I think I am missing a few brain cells when it comes to problem solving, so he helped me figure out how to get to my desired result. Thanks Terrell!
Some projects at work are more fun than others. I had the opportunity to draw Belle with her horse Philippe, so here's the pencil... Belle's face isnt quite there yet, but otherwise I like how it turned out. I also posted the final. I dont get to work on actual film accurate characters that much at work, so its nice when I do get the chance. Mostly I do stylizations of characters, warping and changing them into different illustration styles, some being more succesful than others.
I have entered a piece of art in an art show for display this weekend. Lots of really great artists are also in the show, so I feel really priveleged to have been able to participate. I'm not sure who did the flyer art, but its fun. Check out the website:
I designed some signage for my church's nursery rooms, they had a safari theme. I thought it turned out cute.
