i love rhinos. i used to paint and draw them all the time. in college i added a rhino to my comic strip. his name was "cute marketable gimmick" but, no one thought he was either cute or marketable. that's the true story of my failed foray into the grueling world of daily comic strips.
i climbed into the pen at the philadelphia zoo to get close up pics of the white rhinos. it was dangerous and yet ludicrously easy to do. i wasn't wearing my thinking cap at the time, managed to live to tell the tale but, the pics were crappy. in spite of this, lori still went ahead with the wedding. can you believe that? she's a peach.
